Murry Lane was a Brooklynite stationed in the Pacific during WW2 and dreamed of opening an automotive body and collision repair shop in sunny South Florida. After the war he married his girl, Ida and they moved to beautiful Pompano Beach.

He had the courage to invest in the local community and purchased seven commercial lots which became Pompano Paint and Body repair.

Murray and Ida had three children, two girls and one son - Peter, who developed a passion for cars, motorcycles and body repair. After Murray passed away, Peter took over the reins, having years of management and collision repair experience.

Now celebrating our 63rd year in business, we find ourselves serving a third generation of satisfied customers ... The grandchildren of some of our original clients !!!
